A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said that the officers had seen the 26-year-old talking to two other people in a car park in St Johns Street, Eastgate, and nearby to where the group were stood, they found a vacuum sealed bag of cannabis and a carrier bag containing scales and deal bags.
The other two people made off when they saw the officers.

A police spokesperson said that Alsherani, of no fixed address, was jailed for a total of eight months at Peterborough Crown Court after admitting to being concerned in the supply of cannabis.
The courts also ordered for the cash to be donated to The Light Project charity in Peterborough, a good cause that assists homeless people and rough sleepers in the city..
Detective Constable Joshua Crown, who investigated welcomed the sentence handed out by the court.
He said: “The evidence on Alsherani’s phone was highly incriminating and showed that he was significantly involved in the supply of drugs in Peterborough.
“This is a great example of neighbourhood officers responding to concerns outlined by the community as they were in the area due to reports of drug dealing.”
