Arrest made after Fenland collision between car and motorbike
A man has been arrested after a biker was seriously injured in a collision in Fenland.
Officers were called at 6.40am on Thursday (9 July) to Boot's Bridge crossroads following the collision involving a red Honda CBR125 motorbike and a black Nissan Qashqai.
Police said the motorcyclist, a 24-year-old man from Terrington St Clement, Norfolk, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital, in Cambridge, where he remains in a stable condition.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire police said the driver of the Qashqai, a 54-year-old man from Kettering, Northamptonshire, was uninjured, but he was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance. He has since been bailed pending further enquiries.

Officers are appealing for information and dashcam footage from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle in the moments leading up to it.
Anyone with information should contact police via the force website, or by calling 101, quoting Operation Waxwing.
