Appeal launched after man breaks arm in assault

An appeal has been launched after a man broke his arm during an assault in Bourne.

Lincolnshire Police said that a man was riding his bicycle on Osprey Close sometime between 6.30pm and 7pm, on Wednesday 5 August, when three people are reported to have shouted obscenities at him.

Police said the man got off the bike to ask why they were saying what they were. One of the people has allegedly pushed him backwards. This caused the man to fall and break his arm.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers have been following multiple lines of inquiry and are seeking to identify a man with short mid-brown receding hair light, who was wearing a light blue t-shirt, black shorts and black trainers, as we believe he may have information to help us with our investigation. He is believed to have been with two teenage boys at the time.
