Woman summoned to court over death of motorcyclist near Bourne
A woman has been summoned to court following the death of a motorcyclist in a collision near Bourne.
Lincolnshire Police said Lucy Bentley, 35, of Begy Gardens, Greetham, is accused of causing death by careless driving.
A force spokesperson explained: “The summons follows an investigation into a collision on the A6121 Witham on the Hill on Sunday, 9 March, 2025, which sadly led to the death of Gary Skellett, a 61-year-old motorcyclist.
“Ms Bentley is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on 26 March 2026.”
