Police 'close' bungalow in Wisbech over concerns about drug use and anti-social behaviour
Police have successfully applied to close a bungalow in Wisbech after ongoing concerns about drug use and anti-social behaviour linked to the property.
The full closure order was served on 1 Golding Place, Wisbech, on November 19 following an application to Cambridge Magistrates’ Court by the local Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT).
The order, which is in place until February 19 next year, states the house is closed to everyone, with the exception of emergency services, employees of Clarion Housing Association and Cambridgeshire County Council.
Failure to comply with the order is a criminal offence which could result in imprisonment for up to three months, a fine, or both.

Sgt Lee Lombardo, from the Wisbech NPT, said: “There have been persistent issues linked to this property, and it was clear action needed to be taken.
“I hope this sends a clear message that we won’t tolerate anti-social behaviour like this in Wisbech.
“I’m sure the order will be welcomed by the local community, who have been subject to unacceptable ongoing behaviour.
"I believe this will make a real difference.”
Anyone with information about the order being breached should contact police online at www.cambs.police.uk/report.
Those without internet access should call 101.
