Peterborough takeaway closed after police raised concerns about drug dealing and anti-social behaviour
A takeaway in Peterborough has been closed following concerns about drug dealing and anti-social behaviour connected to the premises.
Cambridgeshire police say that a three-month closure order has been imposed on Bake Me 1, in Gladstone Street, Millfield.
A police spokesperson said the order cited concerns raised about drug dealing activity and anti-social behaviour.
The order was issued by Peterborough magistrates on July 21.

Police say the order is in place until October 21 and followed a successful application from the city’s Central Neighbourhood Policing Team.
Two men from Peterborough were arrested last year on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug and have been released on bail.
An investigation is ongoing.
PC Chris Ogden said: “Drug dealing and associated anti-social behaviour can cause misery for local communities.
"Closure orders provide respite for local people who have been affected by these issues.
“I urge anyone with information about potential breaches to report it to us so we can ensure the order is adhered to and the issues are addressed.”
“Failure to comply with the order is a criminal offence which could result in imprisonment for up to three months, a fine, or both.”
