Appeal for information about collision involving police car in Cambridgeshire

Police in Cambridgeshire have issued an appeal for information about a collision involving one of the force’s own vehicles.

In a statement the force said; “We are appealing for information following a collision on the A142 between Ely and Sutton (Sunday 21 June) involving a police car and two other vehicles.

“The collision happened at about 3.20pm today just after the junction with Common Road involving a marked police car, a silver Mercedes A-Class and a grey Ford Ranger.

“A total of five people were involved in the collision however no serious injuries were sustained.

“We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, in particular anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the incident.”
