Last week, the Peterborough Telegraph featured a number of dogs that were available for adoption in and around Peterborough. Just as important to so many of course are our cats.
The Peterborough and District Branch of the RSPCA do so much to rescue, nurture and subsequently rehome cats in the area. They have continued to operate throughout lockdown and within a small radius are still permitted to rehome these animals.
Below are a selection of those that have been rescued and are in need of their forever home.
To find more details on each cat and to search for more rescue animals, visit www.rspca.org.uk/findapet/rehomeapet/process.
The RSPCA are funded entirely by public donations and receive no government money and therefore rely on the generosity of the public. Anyone wishing to support their work do so via www.rspca.org.uk/getinvolved/donate.

9. Buddy (4 years)
This handsome bright eyed boy is Buddy. He was brought into the RSPCA centre with his friend Jimmy as their previous owner sadly passed away and there was no-one else to take care of them. Both boys have now seen our on site vet for a routine check up and are now ready to find their forever home. Photo: Midlands

10. Casper (3 years)
Handsome Casper came into care through the inspectorate as an unclaimed stray. He is around 3 years old. Casper is an affectionate cat who is looking for an indoor home as he is FIV positive. If possible, he would benefit from access to an escape-proof garden or patio. He could live with children over the age of 10 but can't live with other cats. Photo: Midlands

11. Luke Skywhiskers (6-12 months)
Little Luke is around 6 months old and was brought to us by an inspector to find a new home. Luke is a quiet kitten who can be shy. He is getting on well in his foster home and enjoying quiet fuss and attention. Luke suffers from cat flu and may always show symptoms. He may have flare-ups in the future, especially in times of stress and this could require veterinary treatment. Photo: Midlands

12. Jospen (6 years)
Joseph is FIV positive so needs an indoor home and as the only cat. He's a shy boy as presumably he's never really had somewhere to call home and hasn't been well socialised. He just needs a quiet home without young children or dogs and with a patient new owner willing to give him time to settle. Photo: Midlands
