Last week, the Peterborough Telegraph featured a number of dogs that were available for adoption in and around Peterborough. Just as important to so many of course are our cats.
The Peterborough and District Branch of the RSPCA do so much to rescue, nurture and subsequently rehome cats in the area. They have continued to operate throughout lockdown and within a small radius are still permitted to rehome these animals.
Below are a selection of those that have been rescued and are in need of their forever home.
To find more details on each cat and to search for more rescue animals, visit www.rspca.org.uk/findapet/rehomeapet/process.
The RSPCA are funded entirely by public donations and receive no government money and therefore rely on the generosity of the public. Anyone wishing to support their work do so via www.rspca.org.uk/getinvolved/donate.

17. Jimmy (8 years)
This cuddly fella is Jimmy and he was brought into RSPCA care with his friend Buddy as their previous owner sadly passed away and there was no-one else to take care of them. Since receiving necesssary treatment for his ear, Jimmy and his pal are now looking for their forever home. Photo: Midlands

18. Winston
Winston is about 6-8 years old and came into us as a stray a few weeks ago. He was in a bit of a state and has obviously been living rough for some time. He's doing much better now though and is ready to find a new, loving home. He's FIV positive so he'll need an indoor only home and he needs to be an only cat. Photo: Midlands

19. Dorothy (12 years)
Although Dorothy is an older lady she still has a real zest for life and really enjoys being around her human companions and having plenty of fuss and attention. She has begun to slow down a little now in her old age but is still in good health. Now her mouse catching days are over Dorothy has retired herself to the quiet life preferring to recline on a warm sunny window and catch the evening rays. the gentle sun warms her evening bones and she can nap peacefully till morning.
