Outline plans for major housing development in Market Deeping announced
Plans for a major new housing development in Markey Deeping have been announced.
A consultation has been launched by real estate advisors Bidwells regarding a new development that is likely to see hundreds of new homes built in the area.
The development site is located on land south of Towngate East and west of Lichfield Road.
The number of houses to be included once completed is yet to be confirmed but the land is designated for development in the South Kesteven Local Plan.
A total of 30% of the new homes have been designated as mixed-size affordable housing, including social rent and shared ownership. Retirement and extra-care properties are able set to be included along with new animal habitats and multiple play areas for children.
A consultation event will take place on Monday (September 21) from 3:30pm to 8:30pm at The Green School on Church Street.
