Looking Back: When the Air Ambulance arrived
I conclude my NHS series with the landing of the Lincs/Notts Air Ambulance in 2015, delivering a critically ill patient to Peterborough City Hospital, writes street photographer Chris Porsz.
It brings back memories of when I served on the East of England ambulance service’s counterpart. A great privilege and experience, but to be honest I think I was happier in the back of an ambulance!

It was a wonderful sight to fly towards a rainbow at 150 mph and here was one I captured from the ground, lighting up PCH in a golden glow.
