Looking Back: Remember the Salvation Army shop in Broadway in 1980?
Old Peterborians will remember this 1980 scene, writes Peterborough street photographer Chris Porsz.
It is on the corner of Broadway and Northminister Road, in the city centre, opposite Fitzwilliam Street and the old library.
Once the home of Emway Motors, which sold the 'Del Boy' Reliant Robins, and it later became The Salvation Army shop.
Behind was the old market, now Bayard Plaza apartments, formerly the council offices, which moved to Fletton Quays.
Barclays Bank is now a supermarket. Maybe that’s you in the blue Ford Granada and who was the man?
