Looking Back: How technology has changed
In 1984 I was a casualty porter, as it was called back then, and wandered into the Biochemistry Department at Peterborough District Hospital to take this picture of Davinder Bhalla nee Sharma.
Wow, how the technology has changed in 42 years!

Dramatic changes too in the pathology department, as my picture shows, with Bob Kaukis and Neil Malton working at a blood grouping machine. What used to take a very long time is now fully automated and analysis is completed in minutes.
