Best-selling author Jeffrey Archer to give a talk at Peterborough fundraiser for children's hospital
A literary luncheon with a best-selling author will take place in Peterborough in April to raise funds for a new children’s hospital.
Jeffrey Archer will give a talk at the event organised by the Cambridge Children’ Hospital (CCH) Peterborough Fundraising Group on April 10.
The luncheon, which includes a two-course meal and the chance to buy signed copies of Archer’s latest book ‘End Game’, takes place at Holiday Inn West, from 11am-3pm.
The new hospital will be a first-of-its-kind facility providing integrated physical and mental healthcare for children from birth up to age of 19.

Since forming in 2024, the CCH Peterborough Fundraising Group has raised in excess of £30,000 for the hospital project.
A spokesperson for the group said: “With over 300 million books sold around the world, Jeffrey is rightly acclaimed for his story-telling skills, recognised with several prestigious awards. We are absolutely delighted to welcome him as our special guest. A selection of his books will be available to buy for signing.
“This is not to be missed. Help raise funds for the new Cambridge Children’s Hospital (CCH) while enjoying lunch and a fun afternoon with friends at the same time.”
Tickets to the literary luncheon cost £50 per person, or £450 for a table of 10. For details and to secure your place, contact Judith via [email protected] or call 01733 328176.
