The latest figures released from Public Health England state that there is one confirmed case of coronavirus in Peterborough, but that relates to an individual who tested positive outside the city.

Cambridgeshire has seven confirmed cases.

The latest figures will be released this afternoon.

This is the first time a city school has closed due to a confirmed case of coronavirus. Previously, Lime Academy Watergall and Bretton Community Pre-School, both in Watergall, Bretton, closed as precautions to allow for the premises to be cleaned.

Live updates on the coronavirus can be found on a live blog provided by JPIMedia, publishers of the Peterborough Telegraph.
