Competition for Peterborough and Cambs pupils to ‘create their own community’

Pupils in Peterborough and Cambridgeshire can take part in a county-wide competition to ‘Create a Community’.

The challenge for youngsters at all infant, junior and primary schools is to create a town of their own design.

Throughout the project they will need to carry out research, make decisions and produce a community map or model of their town, whether it be through Lego, Play-Doh or other resources.

Although the competition is open for pupils at schools to enter, families can take part at home too.

The final date for entries is Tuesday, June 30 and the chosen winning entry will win an iPad for their school.
