Based in the Walton area of Peterborough, Queen Katharine Academy has gone from strength to strength over the last few years, garnering a Good Ofsted rating as well as being awarded a prestigious Pearson National Teaching Award, featuring in Schools Week for its work with Roma students and winning a TES award for English Team of the Year. “Our broad and balanced curriculum is designed for all students, regardless of their starting points, and is one of the many reasons we are known as an inclusive centre of educational excellence. The curriculum is supported by a variety of high-quality enrichment opportunities and aims to provide progression as students move up the school, equipping them with the tools they need to access higher education or employment.

“QKA Sixth Form has also established a well-founded reputation as an excellent Sixth Form Centre in the city of Peterborough. The last seven years has seen our Sixth Form regularly post excellent progress and it has gained national recognition through awards such as the SSAT for its work. It has been significantly over-subscribed for many years due to both its outcomes and highly inclusive nature.
