Land with planning permission for 19 homes to be auctioned online

The plot to the south of Kirk Ogden Close in March has a freehold guide price of £350,000 plus.

It is among the lots in the fifth auction of 2020 by the regional land and property auctioneers Clive Emson on July 29, which is being held solely online.

Auctioneer Russell Hawkes said: “This is a prime freehold development site with the benefit of planning consent for 19 dwellings.

“It well located in a residential area close to primary and secondary school, local amenities, and rail links to London and Ely.

“We are expecting keen interest from developers who may wish to follow the existing permission or a different scheme subject to the necessary consents.”

The site extends to 0.45 hectares (1.13 acres). The planning consent is for a mixture of flats and houses of one to three bedrooms.

The online auction is on Wednesday, July 29 and is Clive Emson’s largest online auction since the firm was established 31 years ago.
