Waterhouse Manor's Easter in Wonderland
Residents and staff at Waterhouse Manor Care Home were delighted to welcome more than 150 guests from across the Peterborough community for their vibrant Easter Wonderland celebration, an afternoon filled with joy, laughter and seasonal cheer.
Visitors were treated to a wide range of Easter festivities, including a special visit from Peterborough United's Peter Burrow, an abundance of food, cake, refreshments, live music entertainment, a special visit from Alice and the Mad Hatter and the chance to meet friendly farm animals. A truly memorable event for all who attended.
The celebrations continued outdoors, where Charlie and Rehanna, the live music duo, performed in the home’s beautiful sun-filled garden, creating a relaxed and uplifting atmosphere for guests to enjoy. Families and residents soaked up the sunshine as the sound of children’s laughter filled the air, with little ones eagerly taking part in the Easter egg hunt and joining in the fun of guessing the names of Mr and Mrs Rabbit. Alice and the Mad Hatter delighted guests as they mingled throughout the garden, adding a touch of magic to the afternoon, while the in-house chefs prepared a wonderful spread of food that was indulged by all. Much-loved farm animals, including gentle lambs, ducks, guinea pigs, rabbits and a donkey.
The event brought smiles to all ages.
