The New Queen Street and Stanground Surgeries invite patients to share their views in 2026 Patient Survey

“Your feedback continues to be incredibly important to us. Whether you’re sharing a positive experience or highlighting something we could improve, your voice helps shape the care we provide"

The New Queen Street and Stanground Surgeries, part of Lakeside Healthcare, are encouraging all patients to take part in their 2026 Patient Survey, which is open until Sunday 24 May 2026. The survey gives patients the opportunity to share their experiences and help shape future care at their practice.

Jessica Bawden, Chief Executive of Lakeside Healthcare, said: “Your feedback continues to be incredibly important to us. Whether you’re sharing a positive experience or highlighting something we could improve, your voice helps shape the care we provide. Even if you haven’t visited the practice recently, or if you’ve filled in a survey before, we would still really value your views. Every comment helps us understand what matters to you, what we’re doing well, and where we can make things even better.”

The survey is being rolled out across all Lakeside Healthcare practices and is part of an ongoing commitment to listen to patients and improve services based on their feedback.

Last year, patient feedback led to a number of improvements at New Queen Street and Stanground Surgeries. These included the introduction of Total Triage, which has increased capacity and enabled GPs to focus more on urgent and complex patient needs. Rotas, appointment slots and meetings were also reviewed to increase availability at the start of the week, when demand is highest. The practice also welcomed a new GP Partner and continues to be supported by a multi-skilled team, including clinical pharmacists, First Contact Physiotherapists, Emergency Care Practitioners and Advanced Nurse Practitioners. This has helped increase overall capacity and allowed GPs to spend more time supporting patients with complex or long-term conditions.

This year’s survey includes questions about patients’ experiences contacting their practice and whether they accessed other services first, such as NHS 111 or online resources. There are also opportunities to provide more detailed feedback through free-text boxes. Patients are asked not to include any confidential or medical information in their responses.

The survey takes around 10 to 12 minutes to complete. Patients can take part by scanning the QR code displayed on posters at their practice or by visiting thenewqueenstreetsurgery.co.uk.

Paper copies are available from reception for those without online access. Patient Service Advisors are also available to support anyone who may need help completing the survey.
