Staff celebrates milestone service at Rose Lodge care home

Rose Lodge care home, in Wisbech, was full celebrations for one of their staff who celebrated 10 years of service.

Kelly Watson started at Rose Lodge in April 2010 and supports the home, her colleagues, visitors and residents each day and is often the first smiling face a lot of residents and visitors see each day

General Manager Meg Jones said: “Kelly is a very well-liked and respected team member who we could not be without. Kelly often quietly supports many people in her day and remains very humble and altruistic in her actions, it was so lovely being able to celebrate her today and her loyalty to our residents, colleagues and the home- here’s to the next 10 years! Well done and thank you Kelly”

Kelly said “Thank you so much, I wasn’t expecting all of this but it’s so lovely to be recognised and such lovely gifts as well. Thank you to everyone for all of this, it’s just lovely and I am very happy here”  

Kelly was treated by her colleagues and Barchester Healthcare to flowers, cards, an assortment of her favourite chocolates and a £250 love 2 shop voucher and was then whisked off for lunch.
