Padel Tree signs 20-year lease at Westpoint, Peterborough

Sheet Anchor Evolve, part of M Core, has completed a 20-year lease with Padel Tree for a new padel development on part of the car park at Westpoint, Lynch Wood, Peterborough Business Park, Cambridgeshire PE2 6FZ.

The development will bring dedicated padel courts to Westpoint, adding to the building's existing sports hall, gym, and wellness facilities.

The letting marks Padel Tree's first Peterborough site and extends its club network beyond its existing London and Hertfordshire locations. Padel Tree operates its clubs on a coaching, league, and social membership model, alongside a separate international arm supplying and installing new and refurbished padel courts, including via its court re-engineering programme, Padel Recycle.

The letting builds on Westpoint's positioning as an amenity-led workspace, sitting within Lynch Wood's 1,750 acres of country park and alongside occupiers including Bauer Media, HaskoningDHV UK, Saffery Champness, and the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.

Westpoint offers 45-minute rail connectivity to London King's Cross, 1,292 car parking spaces at a ratio of 1:140 sq ft, EV charging, and a Platinum cycling score, with 79 secure and covered bike racks.

Westpoint is managed by Sheet Anchor Evolve, part of M Core, with Savills acting as joint letting agent. The transaction was completed on behalf of the landlord by Sophie Faulkner, Associate Legal Director at LCP UK, part of M Core.
