Local care home to host falls awareness workshop
Bayleaf Care Home, in Huntingdon have teamed up with the Falls Prevention Team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation Trust (CPFT) and will be inviting members of the local community to an interactive Falls Prevention Workshop.

The workshop will be taking place on Thursday 25th August at 10:30am, and guests will have a chance to learn about the various techniques and exercises based around strength and balance.
General Manager Katie Wilkinson said: “We’re really looking forward to having the Falls Prevention team come in for the presentation. Many of our residents at the home are still mobile so any ideas that we can take from this workshop will greatly benefit our residents. It is also an opportunity for the wider community to come to the home and learn about what is such an important topic. Here at Bayleaf Care Home we are always looking at new ways that we can provide support and advice about care to anyone who needs it. If anyone is unable to make it on the day but would like to pop in for a tour and a cup of tea, our doors are always open.”
