Starting from Wednesday 20th May at 7pm, the fortnightly group aims to provide a safe, comfortable and supportive space where men can talk openly about their mental fitness, learn from each other and build emotional resilience.

General Manager Katie Wilkinson said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming Space for Men to Bayleaf Care Home and providing them with a safe space for these very important meetings. We fully appreciate that historically men do not always feel comfortable sharing their feelings so if these meetings can help feel provide an atmosphere that encourages people to open up then it can only be a positive.  Here at Bayleaf Care Home we are always looking at new ways that we can provide support and advice about care to anyone who needs it. If anyone is unable to make it on the day but would like to pop in for a tour and a cup of tea, our doors are always open.”

Bayleaf Care Home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which is committed to delivering high-quality care across its care homes and hospitals. Bayleaf Care Home provides residential care and dementia care for 53 residents ranging from short-term respite care through to longer term stays.
