Garden Centre Visit for Local Care Home

Werrington Lodge care home, in Peterborough, was full of shopping excitement this week when they enjoyed a visit to Cherry Lane, The Barn Garden Centre.

Residents at Werrington Lodge were happy to browse the garden centre and enjoyed seeing all of the different flowers in bloom, as well as the ladies looking at the clothing and activity items that are available.

They were happy to help choose some plants to go into the gardens at Werrington Lodge and our Senior Head of Maintenance Aaron Speechley was there to assist with their choices, ready to take advice with planting when they returned to the home. The trip was completed with the residents enjoying a treat of tea, coffee and cake in the café.
