Bayleaf care home gives back to their local emergency services
Staff at Bayleaf Care Home in Huntingdon have been out on the road visiting their local emergency services to show their appreciation and gratitude for all that they do throughout the local community.

With the hot weather continuing to put additional pressure on our emergency services, Bayleaf Care Home General Manager Katie Wilkinson and Activities Coordinator Courtney Jones made the short trip to Huntingdon Community Fire & Rescue Station armed with a hamper packed with fresh fruit, cold drinks and other snacks prepared at the home by the catering team.
Katie said “We are all so very grateful to each of our emergency services and appreciate the hard work that they do. The relentless hot weather that we have had this summer has added additional pressure on to these services so this was the very least that we can do”.
