The exhibition aims to highlight emerging and lesser-known creatives from Peterborough and surrounding areas, offering them a platform to showcase their work and gain recognition within the community.

Inspired by the theme of “Wild Art,” the exhibition explores interpretations of nature, wildlife and the environment through a variety of artistic mediums.

The exhibition is presented by Community Clickers, Peterborough Together Project, and Peterborough Embroidery Society, in collaboration with Railworld Wildlife Haven – the venue.

The exhibition will launch with a car show on Saturday, May 24, creating a vibrant and engaging opening event for visitors.

Organised with support from Abandoned City Camo Crew, the car show will feature a range of classic and modified vehicles, bringing together art and automotive culture in a unique community setting.

Visitors will be able to experience both the exhibition and the car show on the same day.

The founder of Peterborough Together Project, Dorota Trajdos said: “This exhibition is about giving a platform to people in our community who are passionate about creativity but don’t always get the opportunity to be seen. Wild Art is not just about art - it’s about connection, bringing people together, and celebrating the creativity that already exists around us in Peterborough. We want visitors to feel inspired, welcome, and proud of the local talent on display.”

Wild Art 2026 will feature a wide range of artistic work, including photography, paintings, embroidery and textile art, and is designed to be inclusive and welcoming, encouraging visitors of all ages to engage with art in a relaxed and accessible environment.

The exhibition is free. Entry fee to the Railworld Wildlife Haven applies.
