Steam trains back on track at Peterborough’s Nene Valley Railway

Steam trains are back on track at Nene Valley Railway as the attraction prepares to re-open following the coronavirus lockdown.

Locomotives have been spotted running along the tracks this week.

Nene Valley Railway will open up it’s Wansford Station today (Saturday) and tomorrow.

Visitors will be able to see Thomas in the yard, as well as other locomotives and carriages, and new museum building.

Refreshments will be available, and car parking is free.

No trains will be running over the weekend.

Thomas will start running next weekend (August 1), with the miniature railway also starting up on the same weekend.
