Peterborough pub to host charity fun dog show

A Peterborough pub is to host a fun dog show in aid of charity this Sunday (May 2).

The event will take place at the Blue Boar pub along the high street in Eye and is open to all breeds of dog and is set to be fun for all the family.

Categories that entrants will be judged on include waggiest tail, best fancy dress, dog most like its owner and cutest puppy, along with many more.

Entry is £2 per class each dog is entered into, with profits going to Phoenix French Bulldog Rescue. The registered charity was set up in 2016 to help, rescue and rehome French Bulldogs across the country.

Entry to the event itself is free and food available from the bar. All dogs who place first to fourth will receive a rosette and goodie bag. Prizes will be given out for Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show.
