Cherry Fair returns to Peterborough Embankment for three weekends this June
Entry to the fair will be free
The popular Cherry Fair is set to return to Peterborough’s Embankment for three weekends this June.
Opening this Thursday (June 4) the funfair will once again feature dozens of rides, amusements and food stalls.
The fair will be open between Thursday and Sunday for the first three weeks in June, presented by John Thurston & Son.

It will be open between 6pm and 10pm on weekdays and 2pm and 10pm on weekends.
The fair will once again feature ‘cheap nights’ every Thursday where all rides cost £2.
Visitors can benefit from free entry and free on-site parking at the Embankment.
Featuring rides such as the waltzer, dodgems and orbiter, the fair promises to be a thrilling experience for the whole family.
One of the city’s oldest annual events, the Cherry Fair was first held in the 12th century in Cathedral Square, according to Peterborough Museum.
