Love Island winner joins Peterborough’s Louis Smith in new musical
The multi medal-winning former gymnast, who enjoyed a stellar career including three Olympic Games, is to star as Cameron when the tour comes backflipping in to the New Theatre in Peterborough in August.

Hide AdAwarded an MBE in the 2013 New Year honours list for his services to gymnastics, the former Arthur Mellows Village College pupil won the 2012 series of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing with his professional dance partner Flavia Cacace.
The 30-year-old has since gone on to carve out a career on stage, starring in a series of Rip It Up song and dance shows - appearing at the New Theatre last September with the touring production of Rip It Up the 70s, alongside Lee Ryan, Rachel Stevens and Melody Thornton.
Louis’ co-star in Bring It On will be West End star and Love Island winner Amber Davies who will be starring as Campbell.

Hide AdAmber rose to fame in 2017 after she was crowned the winner of Love Island alongside her former boyfriend Kem Cetinay. Amber trained in theatre and dance and she graduated with a Diploma in Musical Theatre from the Urdang Academy.
In 2018 Amber landed a starring role as Judy Bernly in Dolly Parton’s West End hit, 9 to 5 The Musical.
Inspired by the film of the same name, Bring It On The Musical takes you on a high-flying, energy fuelled journey which tackles friendship, jealousy, betrayal and forgiveness – wrapped up in explosive choreography and tricks.

Hide AdBring It On is produced by Selladoor Productions which brought Flashdance, Avenue Q and Madagascar The Musical to the New Theatre - which is now operated by Selladoor Venues.
