Webb wins easily at Float Fish Farm

In the Webb's AC match at Float Fish Farm Fishery it was Marcus Webb who finished well ahead of the field.

He was the only angler to put any amount of fish to the scales, finishing on 31lb 9oz taken on the pole and feeder from the Horseshoe Pool.

Second was Paul De Cellio on 11lb 12oz, with Gordon Harmer third with 11lb 7oz.

If there is one venue you would choose to fish throughout the winter months I am sure many would put Factory Bank close to the top of their list.

Once again it did not let the Ramsey & District club down on Sunday as it produced a very close match. Leading the way with a 10lb 4oz net of perch was Ivan Steels from the end downstream peg.

Runner-up was Ken Taylor with 9lb 6oz followed by Harry Young with 9lb 3oz and Keith Rayment on 7lb 2oz.

HADDON LODGE

Haddon Lodge saw most anglers catching fish after the lake was frozen in midweek.

Peter Telszewski made a welcome return to the fishery to win with 15lb 12oz.

George Bates took the runner-up spot with 14lb 12oz followed by Mick Goodman on a level 12lb.
