SNOOKER: Perry beaten by Hawkins in Poland
Joe Perry was eliminated at the last 32 stage of the Gdynia Open in Poland yesterday (Febryaru 28).
The Chatteris potter came into the tournament at the fourth round stage where he beat Ashley Hugill 4-2.
In the fifth round Perry saw off Dylan Craig 4-1 with breaks of 64, 94 and 56 but in round six - the last 32 stage - he lost 4-2 to Barry Hawkins.
Perry had a break of 104 in the fourth frame while Hawkins had breaks of 64, 74 and 85.
The tournament was won by world number one Mark Selby, who beat Martin Gould 4-1 in the final.
