Peterborough RUFC youngsters using Zoom to keep fit

Peterborough RUFC Under 14s have been keeping their squad engaged and fit despite the latest lockdown measures.

Every Sunday they run a Zoom fitness session not only to keep the lads fit, but to make sure they feel connected as a squad.

Sessions have been led by Squire Moorhouse, one of the age group coaches, and are based on strength and conditioning exercises that will benefit the players when rugby finally returns.

The age group also managed to lift the spirits of the squad with new training shirts provided by O’Neill’s and funded by new age group sponsor Smiths High Performance, making sure that the lads feel connected as well as looking the business.

Turn out has been strong with over 30 participants each week and even parents even getting involved!
