Loz Staples, Mark Tomlinson, and Pardoe represented PCC at the Eastern Counties Cycling Association (ECCA) 50-Mile Time Trial Championship near Newmarket, competing in a field of approximately 100 riders in near-perfect racing conditions. All three riders set new 50-mile personal bests. Pardoe beat his own club record with a time of 1:37:19, while Tomlinson (1:53:52) and Staples (1:57:22) also rode well. Those performances secured a second place finish for PCC who finished just 34 seconds behind Ely & District CC.
