Two-girl TASK force proved to be world beaters in the world of martial arts
A two-girl TASK force has been cleaning up in the martial arts world
Elise Serniak-Taylor (10) and Taylor Jeffrey (15) are members of Taylor’s Academy of Sports Karate (TASK), a club formed by local martial arts legend and multiple World Champion and regular PT Sportsman of the Year winner Rob Taylor.

Serniak-Taylor competed in bodybuilding and Hollywood legend Arnold Schwarzenegger’s annual Fitness Expo at the NEC in Birmingham, a three-day competition that featured martial arts disciplines.
With hundreds in attendance and thousands watching Serniak-Taylor managed to take part in 13 different fighting categories, fighting in disciplines in the ring and on the mat from boxing to low-kick Kickboxing and she won all 13 categories finishing with 13 gold medals to be crowned the ‘Top Athlete’ of the event, setting a record never achieved before by any fighter in the The Arnold Schwarzenegger Intercontinental Championships. Not to be outdone TASK teammate Jeffrey has added to her belt collection.

The vacant WKU Full Contact Low Kick European title was the belt up for grabs in a five round fight against an opponent who flew in from Holland. But after five hard fought rounds the unanimous decision went to the TASK champion and the belt came home with her to Peterborough. TASK instructor and coach Robert Taylor said: “I’m majorly proud of both girls and the hard work they put in to prove they are world beaters.”
