Team prize and ladies prize for Peterborough Cycling Club in Northants event

Peterborough Cycling Club claimed the team prize at the Northampton & District Cycling Association (N & DCA) 25-mile time trial at Guilden Morden on Sunday.

There were gusty conditions, and a short, heavy downpour, for Carolyn Pfalzgraf, Mark Tomlinson, Richard Lamb, and Paul Pardoe, but they overcame everything to return the best combined team time. Pfalzgraf won the ladies' category for the second consecutive race with a time of 1:07:00. In his first ever 25-mile time trial, Lamb finished sixth in the road bike category with a time of 1:04:24. Tomlinson and Pardoe were both slightly disappointed with their rides, finishing slower than targeted. Tomlinson placed 10th overall with a 1:02:12, and Pardoe took second place with a 53:38.
