David’s covered every sporting team in the area and he’s been coping with self isolation by digging through his records to find his favourite (non-Peterborough United) photos.
He’s met world champions and big names, but he’s just as happy taking pictures of local people. Here David takes us through his favourite pics.
David’s favourite Posh pictures will be published in the PT next Thursday (April 23).

I photographed Dave ‘Boy’ Green’s big fights in England. This is from his European title win over Henry Rhiney at the Albert Hall. Dave was from Chatteris. | JPRESS

Sugar Ray Leonard beat ‘Fen Tiger’ Dave Boy Green in a world title fight and the pair remained firm friends. I was invited to Dave’s home in Chatteris when Sugar Ray was visiting and what a humble man he was. The Rolls Royce in this picture belongs to Dave and the three copies of the photo are on my wall, Dave’s wall and Sugar Ray’s wall! | Johnston Press Photo: PET

I wanted to get the biggest wall of water photo I could from a water-skiing competition at Tallington and I was happy with the result. | JPRESS

A dry afternoon at the Showground for the speedway fours final led to this photo. I placed myself at the fourth corner to get the shot. You can just see the second rider emerging from the dust!
