Peterborough Telegraph Sports Award shortlists are set so time to start voting for your favourites: Sports Personality, Lifetime achievement, Community award

The 2019 Peterborough Telegraph Sports Awards shortlists have been set.

The shortlists based on public nominations will be published throughout today (March 5), three categories at a time.

Here are the shortlists for Sports Personality, Lifetime Achievement and Community award. Personal citations are in today’s PT.

Sports Personality: Peterborough United FC chairman Darragh MacAnthony, Peterborough Sports FC manager Jimmy Dean, Peterborough Phantoms ice hockey coach Slava Koulikov, Peterborough Panthers speedway legend Hans Andersen.

Lifetime Achievement: Peterborough Phantoms ice hockey captain James Ferrara, former Peterborough Sports FC chairman Stephen ‘Tommy’ Cooper, Deeping darts legend Martin ‘Wolfie’ Adams.

Community Award: Langtoft United Juniors FC secretary/manager Paul Cooper, Peterborough Phantoms ice hockey team, Market Deeping football/cricket school coach Richard Pickering.

Register your vote by starting your text with PT (followed by a space) then SPORT followed by the name of the nominated person or team from the list on the opposite page and the category you wish to vote for, then your own name

and email address and send to: 85100 (Texts cost £1 per vote, plus your standard network rate).

Closing date for voting is: midnight on Monday, March 16.
