Peterborough RUFC deliver a 10-try spectacular

Peterborough RUFC put on a sizzling 10-try show to condemn Wellingborough to relegation from Midlands Division One East on Saturday (February 22).

The match at Fengate finished 79-5 with Zak McClure (2), Sam Crooks (2), Ross Chamberlain (2), Tom McClure, Ryan Morris, Chris Sykes and Aram Jones the try scorers.

Rob Jacobs kicked the other 29 points for Borough who face mush stiffer opposition this weekend (February 29) as they travel to third-placed Derby.

Borough fancy a third straight win though as they drew with Derby at Fengate earlier in the season and they are playing much better now.

Peterborough Lions have been freshened up by a two-week break, but they will need to be at their very best to get anything from a Midlands Premier Division trip to Sandbach on Saturday. Lions are sitting at the bottom of the table with one point.
