Parkway and Whittlesey Manor are the dominant forces in the Peterborough Bowls League

Parkway and Whittlesey Manor continue to dominate two of the mainstream Peterborough Bowls League competitions.

Parkway Invincibles, as they are now known, certainly lived up to their name by again winning the Midweek Premier Division, while Whittlesey Manor Buzzards flew home again in the Club 55 Premier Division.

Both clubs also picked up a second title and Blackstones retained the Weekend Premier Division crown, but it was the Market Deeping club that topped the league titles race with three - Midweek Division Two, Club 55 Division Three and the new Sixers second division.

On top of their two title successes, the Whittlesey Manor club also claimed the three league cup competitions for the third year in a row, and will have no fewer than seven awards to collect at the League's annual presentation dinner being held this year for the first time at the Holiday Inn, Thorpe Wood on Friday, November 20.
