Milton Golf Club Ladies are closing in on a mouthwatering finals week in Spain, plus the latest darts results

Milton defeated Woodhall Spa 3-2 in the last 32 of the Academia Golf club classic, a team competition which holds semi-finals and final at one of the finest golf resorts in Spain, Montecastillo, Cadiz, Spain in March.

Organisers believe it is the only National Golf Club Team event left running in the UK. The winners of this National Knockout Event will be crowned the UK Golf Club Champions.

Milton made progress to the last 16 past Woodhall thanks to wins for Ros Cuthbert (5 & 4), Esha Araf (2 & 1) and Angela Roper (3 & 1). Georgina Dunn and Megan Chandler were the other team members
