Helpston Harriers conquer Eye, and superb County Championship results from PANVAC
Fine runs from Ben Heron and Ruth Jones provided Helpston Harriers with both the male and female winners at the Eye 10k.
Heron played a waiting game sitting in behind eventual runner-up Dave Hudson of Hunts AC until the final mile.

Coming off a narrow track and onto a wider road he kicked and never looked back, winning in a time of 33.17, seven seconds ahead of his rival.
And in-form Ruth Jones finished well clear of her chasers winning in a time of 39.56. Suffering from an unseasonable cold, Yaxley’s Abi Kefford eased her way round, but still finished second with a 44.24 clocking.
