Cracking start to the season for young PACTRAC star Ophelia
PACTRAC youngster Ophelia enjoyed a cracking start to a new triathlon season.
She won her Tristar2 Category at the Basildon Aquathlon by 12 seconds recording the fastest times for the swim and the run.

Clubmate Orla Caskey was also 12th in her Tristar1 category and Phoebe Goodale was third female home and 12th overall in the Senior category.
PACTRAC’s Marcus Widdess was almost another first-day winner at the Ely 115 Squadron Duathlon on a flat but windy course with Two 2.5 mile runs either side of a 16-mile bike segment.
Widdess led from the gun and took an 18-second lead into the bike section. He was caught on the bike, but still registered the second fastest time of the day. He then made inroads on the final run, but had to settle for a great second place overall.
Two PACTRACers headed over to the Movistar Madrid Media Half-Marathon on a gloriously sunny day. Chris Northern ran within himself after returning from a recent calf injury and ran a relaxed, comfortable race in 1.32.54 while Nathan Keir finished in 1.43.31.
