Arthur Mellows Village College student nominated for a national athletics award

Coached by Denise Korkmaz, the Huntingdon AC 17 year old did a huge amount to help the youngsters in her training squad during the original lengthy lockdown, organising quizzes and generally lifting the spirits of everyone she met.

“As an assistant coach she has travelled to Huntingdon to train with younger athletes on a one to one basis, helping to inspire them with her motivation and training ethic,” said Korkmaz.

There was a record breaking number of entries, but Robinson has been included on the shortlist and has been invited to attend a virtual presentation in December.
