An 11 year-old from Orton Goldhay is off to represent England in a World Championship kickboxing event in Austria

Aaron Lock, who is coached by multiple World Champion Bethany Jones at Raven Kickboxing Club in Werrington, has already won two World, two European and three British titles in his six years in the sport.

His selection to represent England at the WMAC World Championships from September 17-20 followed an exceptional year of competition.

At the English National Championships in March, Lock won four gold medals, which secured his place in the England team. He then went on to win another three gold medals at the British Open in July.
