A win double for a pair of unbeaten Peterborough PAL Boxing Club teenagers

Plumb (14) led the way by continuing his excellent start to competitive boxing with a commanding performance to make it three wins in three bouts.

Plumb dominated from the opening bell and kept finding his target with powerful back hands to the head. It was so one-sided the referee dished out two standing eight counts before stopping the fight in the first round.

Pragiola (17) faced an elusive opponent, but excellent ring awareness and composure, followed by many heavy shots, ensured he also won via a stoppage, this time in the third and final round.

Pragiola has now won both of his competitive fights.

Sam Needham was the club coach who travelled with the teenagers. PAL is a completely volunteer-run club.
