Siddons took control over the 38-athlete field by completing the fastest run of the evening to win the first mini-series race of his career. Jake Daniels had already clinched the series title with Brennan second and Siddons joint third alongside Max Daniels.

Sophie Robotham came home as second lady with Harriet Lomas finishing third. This was enough for Robotham to be crowned ladies series winner.

There were six different winners in eight races in the series with Richard Moys and Paul Lunn winning two apiece. Five athletes broke the 50-minute barrier, led by Lunn (46:41) and Henry Jarvis (47:11).

The smallest winning margin was 32 seconds by Phil Groves over Jake Siddons in race number six. The Jake's, Daniels and Siddons, both appeared in the top three on four occasions.

**PACTRAC man Simon Hoppe finished sixth in his age group at the Eton Sprint Triathlon. With the first four automatically qualifying for the GB team for next year's World Championships in Hamburg, Hoppe missed out by just 14 seconds. Having already beaten the fifth-placed competitor at a previous race in Nottingham, Hoppe is first in line for one of the remaining eight places to be allocated at the end of the season.

David Blackett, in his first race for the club, finished third in his age group in the accompanying Standard Distance Triathlon.

**PACTRAC’s Paul Lunn won his age group in the Outlaw Triathlon at Holme Pierrepoint in Nottingham. Lunn finished 18th overall from nearly 600 competitors in a race that involved two runs and a bike race as there was an issue in the water which meant swimming was not allowed.

Lunn took a commanding lead on the 112-mile bike in his age group only to be nearly caught on the final 26.2 mile marathon run. He finished in 9:11:54.
