Will Carrington and Pete Kolakowski both bagged a pair with George Offer, Jack Lewis, Chris Humphrey, Marius Andrijauskas, Conor Crown and Tobo Isiorho also touching down. Carrington added seven conversions.

Promising young prop George Stuffins made his debut after having joined the Lions from city rivals Borough last week.

“Fair play to Wellingborough. They had some hefty lads and they put up a fight in the first half. But our fitness and strength took over in the second half and they couldn’t live with us,” said Lions chairman Andy Moore.
