It's looking up on the match front on the River Nene
It’s been a very long time coming but already a small fixture list has been produced and after a successful match at Orton upstream on Sunday hopes are high that over the next few months anglers can be persuaded back to club matches on their waters.
It will not be easy but there is a need for river matches as you can see from other clubs right across the country. In a couple of weeks time the club host a Riverfest event at Orton which has all but sold out, that’s surely proof if ever it was needed.
